Gail Heagerty of LaJoie-ful Glass Art, began her love affair with glass over 30 years ago when she began making stained glass windows in Santa Cruz, California. Just a few years ago, she discovered fused glass and hasn’t looked back! All of her functional fused glass art is joyfully created in her home workshop in Grants Pass, Oregon, USA using the finest quality glass, murrini, stringers, and frit. She creates hearts, platters, garden adornments, dishes, plates, bowls, and enjoys collaborating with her husband, Steve Heagerty, to create glass lids for his wooden lathe-turned boxes. She draws upon nature for the designs that she passionately puts a lot of care and pride into.
