Painting wonderful plants and creatures, Pam creates art that speaks to the beauty of the natural world to increase viewers' desire to preserve that beauty.
"My interest in pollinators started with a good friend and patron who is a pollination expert. We had many interesting discussions about various pollinators and she lent me several informative books. One fact that caught my attention early: 75% of all plants on earth cannot produce fruits or seeds without animal pollinators. Also, one of the three bites of food we eat is there because of these pollinators. Thus, pollinators are of vital importance to humans and indeed, all life on earth! Yet you may have heard that their numbers are in decline, especially bees and butterflies. Pam Haunschild's Blog
