Special art festivals presented to the public at the Guild Gallery in Kerby, Oregon.
Valentine’s Day inspired Southern Oregon Guild artists to explore the theme “Loving” in the first show opening of 2019, which opened at the Guild Gallery & Art Center in Kerby February 10.
Romantic love is the face of love that is emphasized during this season, but loving has so many facets. The Guild members invite you to join us as we look into the many ways that love can be expressed and share the different objects of our affection.
Central to the new show are Sheila Mason’s love of trees, her fascination with all kinds of people, and her delightful sense of humor, which are on display in her sculpture and in her paintings, large and small. Her painting has moved beyond the traditional two dimensions into bas relief as she integrates her love of the two media, sculpture and painting.
Come and see how the inspired artist presented their thoughts on "Loving" displayed now in the Guild Gallery and Art Center through April 20, 2019.
