Lou Bernadette is an interdisciplinary artist who struggles to view themselves as an artist, much preferring the term "spicy trash queen". A Portland native, they receded into the woods a few years ago to focus. It hasn't worked, as the woods of southern Oregon are a vibrant cacophony of natural wonders, medicinal plants, unparalleled beauty, and behemoth piles of trash. Lou Bernadette is currently working to pull this tangled mess into the spotlight in an attempt to Garner an understanding of what exactly lies in them/their hills, and create solutions for generational poverty, flash in the pan industrialism and short sighted ecological choices.
