Polymer Clay Jewelry with Pamela Espinoza
Sunday October 15, 2023 from 10am-3pm
Location: @ The Guild Gallery & Art Center
Price: $45-$65 with all materials included
We invite you to join us on Sunday October 15 from 10am-3pm to celebrate the beginning of fall with a Polymer Clay Jewelry workshop at the Guild Gallery & Art Center, led by jewelry artist Pamela Espinoza of Ave Joyeria. During this 5 hour workshop, you’ll learn and understand the process and tools of polymer clay to create 3 various types of earrings each using a different technique!
Unlike many art materials, polymer clay is accessible, versatile, safe, and easy to work with at home with simple tools. Through this basic introduction class you’ll learn the essentials to then continue on creating depending on your interest in the material. You’ll walk away with tips and tricks on how to mix colors, create textures, safely bake items, and THREE wearable jewelry pieces from start to finish!
Pamela will lead you through the process of: conditioning clay, cutting shapes, using a pasta roller to quickly and professionally mix colors, shaping 3D elements, creating textures, baking finished pieces, and finally assembling them together with metal jewelry findings to wear right away! Pamela will be providing all materials, including 3 pre-selected “fall-inspired” clay colors, pasta rollers, and a small electric oven to use during class. If you would like to purchase your own preferred 3 clay colors ahead of time, you may choose to pay for class for a lesser fee.
This class is appropriate for ages 12 and up and limited to 7 spots only. Please bring a lunch with you to enjoy during class. All materials will be provided and included in your selected class fee (sliding scale $45-$65) or you may choose $40 if you plan to purchase your own clay. When you register, please honestly self-select your contribution. Choose a tier that supports you to commit. By paying at the highest level you help subsidize others and offer scholarships to support a wider range of people. If the sliding scale would be a hardship and you’d like to request a scholarship, please send an email to
