Are you ready to cut through the confusion and take your artwork to the next level? Are you ready to save years of learning on your own? We invite you to join us on Saturday March 18 from 10am-1pm for this HYBRID workshop Elevating Your Art: How to Productively Self-Critique, led by professional local artist Kristen O’Neill, where you’ll learn how to apply the elements of art and principles of design to your work - and understand exactly what these terms mean! Kristen will model these ideas by walking you through several examples from art history and then open up class for you to have YOUR artwork critiqued. This is a great opportunity to apply this knowledge right away in a safe and intimate environment with other artists at different skills levels. This class is suitable for artists of all 2D mediums and levels of experience.
Join class either online via ZOOM (link will be emailed to you following registration) or at the Guild Gallery & Art Center at 24353 Redwood Highway Kerby, OR 97531. When registering, please indicate if you wish to have your art critiqued and if you will be joining online or in-person, so that we may prepare ahead of time.
Class fees are on a sliding scale, when you register, please honestly self-select your contribution. Choose a tier that supports you to commit and that may be a stretch but not a hardship. By paying at the highest level you help subsidize others and offer scholarships to support a wider range of people. If the sliding scale would be a hardship and you’d like to request a scholarship, please send an email to
$25, if you are currently a student in either high school or college
$40, if you’re financially stretching
$50, if you’re financially comfortable
$60, if you’re financially flourishing
