Kaz Chandler is a storyteller in both Theatre and Visual Arts based in Talent, OR. They ifnd joy in painting, especially the spontaneity of Plein Air. After years of a career in dark theaters, the outdoors is now their other studio through which they capture the immediacy of the natural world in light and shadow, color and energetic brushstrokes, inviting viewers to find their own story within the scene. Through their art, they aim to evoke beauty and harmony, offering an escape from the everyday. They want their audience to feel a sense of freedom and serenity, to desire to visit the places they paint, and to see the world through their eyes. Kaz avoids photographic realism, preferring to convey their emotional and sensory experiences of a place. You can learn more about Kaz at their website: https://www.kazchandlerart.com/
