The Southern Oregon Guild, Cave Junction Farmers Market, and the Motherline proudly present a special film screening of Washed Ashore on Saturday August 8 from 3-5pm. Join us at the Guild Gallery & Art Center to watch Angela Hazeltine Coetzee transform ocean debris into large-scale sculptures to highlight the impact of plastic pollution on marine life. Learn how this community-based Oregon initiative raises awareness by turning collected waste from local areas into art, educating the public about the urgent need for conservation. Come get inspired to upcycle waste from local Motherline community cleanups into your own art masterpieces! Doors open at 3pm, film screens from 3:15-4:45, followed by a short discussion. Event admission is FREE with refreshments available for purchase, all proceeds go to the Guild.
