Alx Fox is an abstract artist with a passion for using evocative color and striking textures. She has spent many years exploring the aesthetic and expressive possibilities of paint on canvas, using only the basic elements of the artist’s toolbox – color, texture and design. Working primarily in acrylics and without the need to represent anything but feelings or ideas, she has developed a powerfully expressive style and creates pieces that evoke a wide range of moods and opportunities for reflection.

Alx was President of the Southern Oregon Society of Artists (SOSA) from January 2012 to January 2015. She is a member of Art & Soul Gallery in Ashland, Rogue Gallery & Art Center in Medford, and the Southern Oregon Guild Gallery & Art Center in Kerby. Her work is also in private collections throughout the United States.
