Whether oil or acrylic, I think of my paintings as poems writ in color, or perhaps prayers of gratitude for the gift of vision.

I paint them to be filled with a sense of presence or being, perhaps becoming a window to a place once forgotten or evoking the feeling of a fleeting moment in space.

If nothing else, they are evidence of a life walked in continual observation of this light filled natural world and the drive to record it with the magic of color and brush.

My work can be found at the Guild Gallery in Kerby, Oregon and in my studio above Bagel Junction in Cave Junction.
