Eligibility

  • Work submitted and shown must all be artist’s original work
  • If showing in more than one medium, application must be made in each medium
  • Submit three photos of work in each medium in which applying
  • (Optional) Submit one booth shot
  • Photos may be submitted via mail on CD or electronically via email
  • No imported or manufactured work may be entered
  • Entries must be received no later than July 14

Submittal

  • You must email 3 photos for each Category/Medium you have applied for
  • Filenames must be in the following format: ArtistName_Medium_#.jpg
  • Emailing a booth photo is optional, but we like to see them if available
  • Booth Filename format must be: ArtistName_booth.jpg
  • Photos must be 150 ppi resolution and 10 inches on widest side in .JPG format
  • If you choose not to email your photos, they need to be put on CD & mailed or delivered to the Guild

Jury Results

Notice of jury results will go out July 21; Booth payments must be received by August 4

Jurying

The jury will consist of two professional artists experienced in the jury process and knowledgeable about the full range of media. They will look for excellence and creativity in conception, execution and presentation. Judging is on an anonymous basis. A balance of artists in each medium will be invited. All decisions are final.

Fees

  • There is no application fee
  • Artists with 3-dimensional work may wish to submit two photos for each of 3 pieces submitted
  • Booth fees vary from $35 to $165, based on the custom show layout
  • Two artists may share a large space but each must apply separately

Notification

Accepted artists will be notified via email or mail. Notices should go out on July 21 If there is a wait list and space is available after the August 4 deadline for booth fee payment, artists will be informed as soon as possible.

To secure your space, your booth fee must be received by August 4.

Artwork Image Use

By accepting these terms, upon application acceptance you give the Southern Oregon Guild permission to use your art images in promotion of the Artoberfest
