Southern Oregon Guild of Artists & Artisans Board Members The Board Of Directors & Officers

The Board of Directors of the Southern Oregon Guild of Artists and Artisans is a working Board, responsible for all aspects of Guild activities and management. Board members are volunteers who offer their various skills and expertise to develop both a firm financial base for the organization and the programming that fulfills the Guild’s mission and purpose.

Elections

Board Directors and officers are elected by the Active Guild Members annually for a one-year term in an Annual Meeting in January.

Nonprofit Status

The Guild is an Oregon nonprofit membership corporation with 501c3 status and is on the approved beneficiaries list of the Oregon Cultural Trust. In addition to management and programming, Board members are responsible for safeguarding the nonprofit status of the organization.

If you are interested in applying for Active membership in the Southern Oregon Guild of Artists and Artisans and have not yet met with a Guild Board member, contact us through Guild President, Joyce Abrams, to arrange a meeting to show your work and have your questions answered.

Or, you can pick up an application at the Guild Gallery and Art Center, learn about the Guild from the Gallery Host, and arrange to meet with a Board member.
